Clarivate is hiring a Senior Director, Segment Sales to lead and grow our Americas Field Accounts segment. In this role, you will be directly responsible for driving revenue through customer retention and new business growth within a defined territory of strategic life sciences accounts.
What You'll Do
- Lead a high-growth sales team for our Americas Field Accounts segment.
- Directly manage a team of individual contributor direct reports and one sales manager.
- Focus on customer retention and new business growth within a territory of approximately 250 assigned field accounts in pharma/biotech, payer, and CRO client sets.
- Lead a culture of high performance, client relationship management, and professional goal setting and forecasting.
- Strategically hire as revenue grows and implement performance management to optimize team effectiveness.
- Support sellers in deal progression, contract negotiation, and renewal discussions, traveling to customer meetings as needed.
- Identify and implement growth drivers within assigned accounts to increase overall revenue.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant work experience.
- 10+ years of sales management experience leading an account team as a vendor to the life sciences industry.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling information services, strategic consulting, enterprise software, or enterprise analytics.
- Experience and knowledge of selling across the life sciences value ecosystem including R&D and commercial functions.
Team & Environment
You will manage a team of individual contributors and at least one sales leader.

- Annual compensation range: $176,000 - $220,000 USD.
