About the Role

TensorOps is hiring a Senior Director of Sales to lead and mentor a high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for driving growth within the digital media and advertising technology sector, translating industry trends into actionable sales strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Directly manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 4-6 sellers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a front-line leader, actively participating in complex deal strategy, pricing, and commercial negotiations to maximize deal size and profitability.
  • Implement proven sales training frameworks like Sandler or MEDDIC to coach and provide thoughtful feedback on sales calls.
  • Own sales operations forecasting and maintain robust pipeline hygiene, providing accurate reporting and strategic insights on key sales metrics to senior leadership.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the digital media ecosystem, applying a deep understanding of media buying, advertising platforms, and reseller models to guide your team's approach.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless campaign execution.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience leading and managing a sales team in the digital advertising, AdTech, or digital media space.
  • Direct experience managing sellers who consistently carry individual quotas, ideally around the $2 million range.
  • A deep, actionable understanding of the media buying landscape, including DSPs, programmatic advertising, and major platforms like Google, TTD and Amazon.
  • Demonstrated success implementing and coaching a team using structured sales methodologies like Sandler or MEDDIC.
  • Analytical skills, using data to inform decision-making, track performance, and ensure accountability within your team.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within a Google reseller ecosystem or the media side of adtech.
  • Strong existing relationships with advertising agencies and key decision-makers within large corporate advertisers.
