First American is hiring a Senior Director, National Agency Operations. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving revenue generation, market share growth, and operational excellence within a defined regional territory. You will engage with State and Area Managers to align resources, deploy strategic initiatives, and contribute directly to the division's overall strategy.
What You'll Do
- Drive strategic initiatives from both sales and operational perspectives.
- Influence overall Business Unit strategy and collaborate with the executive leadership team on strategic decision-making.
- Define and execute business development strategy to drive revenue growth throughout the region.
- Utilize financial management skills to analyze and manage the regional P&L effectively.
- Manage the sales team to attain maximum sales volume and develop potential from all markets.
- Ensure sales teams engage in activities that directly drive revenue and grow market share.
- Develop an organizational structure that creates operational efficiencies, drives business results, and fosters talent development.
- Direct the implementation of divisional initiatives, policies, and procedures compliant with regulatory standards.
- Champion the adoption of new business technologies that serve as market differentiators and maximize productivity.
- Develop team members to build a solid succession plan for key roles while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented workplace culture.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape, including the recruitment and retention of strategic talent.
- Interact with external stakeholders to enhance and expand the customer experience.
- Utilize metrics, dashboards, and shared services to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilize problem-solving, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and team building skills to meet business needs.
- Travel as required for the role.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 12+ years of demonstrated experience managing multiple functions.
- Demonstrated competency in executing strategic plans.
- Progressive experience leading employees in multiple locations and significant experience developing and implementing solutions.
- Proven track record leading large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and driving organizational change.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, negotiation, critical thinking, team building, and presentation skills.
- A deep understanding of metrics and dashboards to drive continuous improvement.
- Leadership skills, leading by example, driving employee commitment, and empowering employees to reach their full potential.
- Demonstrated success meeting the needs of a wide range of employees while driving team performance, monitoring results, and allocating resources appropriately.
- Strong experience and knowledge of functional tools and infrastructure.

Team & Environment
This role has direct oversight of regional sales, managing a sales team and engaging regularly with State and Area Managers to drive performance.
