Lockwood (part of Cushman & Wakefield) is hiring a Senior Director, Medical Affairs Publications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive publication strategies, including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and congress materials, in line with organizational objectives and clinical timelines
  • Manage cross-functional publication teams to deliver timely and scientifically rigorous outputs
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts to ensure accurate interpretation and dissemination of clinical data
  • Foster collaboration across Clinical, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Commercial, and Communications functions to maintain consistent scientific messaging
  • Provide scientific guidance for all publication content and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Chair publication committee meetings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as required
  • Supervise external vendors to ensure quality deliverables, on-time completion, and budget compliance
  • Oversee annual publication budget planning and vendor contracting processes
  • Partner with Medical Affairs leadership to integrate publication strategy within broader medical planning
  • Ensure compliance with ICMJE and GPP guidelines for authorship and ethical publication practices
  • Provide strategic direction to maintain scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and message alignment across all publications
  • Maintain consistency in scientific communication across internal and external platforms
  • Ensure all publications reflect the established scientific narrative, terminology, and strategic messaging, including proper interpretation of statistical results
  • Stay current with disease area knowledge, clinical developments, and product-specific data
  • Develop compliant educational and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Track and report post-publication metrics accurately and on schedule
  • Support planning and execution of scientific congresses and broader Medical Affairs operational activities

Compensation

$260,706.00 - $284,962.00 base salary range, with additional compensation possible through bonus and equity; total pay based on experience, skills, and location
