Responsibilities
- Shaping the future of clinical quality, encounter quality, and innovation at Midi.
- Leading analytics at the intersection of AI, clinical care, compliance, and patient experience.
- Build scalable systems that improve patient outcomes and clinician success.
- Own analytics around scribe AI tools (speech-to-text transcription + Script AI insights), ensuring outputs become clear reports and dashboards.
- Develop analytics on clinician–patient interactions, training opportunities, operational/tech barriers, and clinical trends.
- Lead process improvement (PI) initiatives to strengthen quality, reduce variation, and improve outcomes.
- Partner with Product and Operations teams to integrate AI-driven findings into workflows.
- Build and maintain real-time dashboards with HEDIS and quality metrics for immediate visibility into performance and outcomes.
- Build functional relationship with Data Science.
- Own Midi’s Quality program, including chart audits, expansion of automated audits, and oversight of compliance with standards.
- Monitor patient safety, adverse events, and near-miss reporting—integrating findings into continuous improvement.
- Lead weekly AI-powered Practice Pattern reviews, ensuring clinicians adhere to protocols and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Learning & Development to evaluate the Onboarding process with quantitative data aligned to practice patterns.
- Continuous readiness for compliance and third party audit requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership on evidence-based clinical protocols, ensuring alignment with patient-centered care.
- Design algorithms of care—structured pathways and decision rules that improve outcomes and consistency.
- Tailor protocols to distinct clinical services (menopause/perimenopause, weight, primary care, and future complex care).
- Maintain rigorous documentation and communicate program status/results to stakeholders.
- Partner with Product, Operations, and Clinical leaders to ensure program success.
- Bridge technical and clinical teams, fostering agile development and rapid implementation.
- Contribute to strategic planning as Midi expands into complex care while maintaining excellence in menopause, perimenopause, weight, and midlife primary care.
- Lead with the philosophy: data drives science, and science drives decisions.
- Use data to allocate resources, identify inflection points of value, and pivot programs toward better outcomes.
- Build dashboards and frameworks that translate data into actionable insights for leadership, clinicians, and partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in clinical operations, quality and patient safety management, or health services research.
- Demonstrated success in leading data-rich clinical programs and translating findings into operational improvements.
- Proven ability to bridge technical and clinical teams, driving agile and scalable innovation.
- Obsessed with time and efficiency: respects deadlines, starts on time, and finishes on time.
- Holds self and colleagues accountable, thrives in fast-paced environments, and avoids stagnation.
- Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Quicksight) and the ability to interpret and articulate data clearly.
Nice to Have
- CPHRM, CPPS, or equivalent strongly preferred
- RN or other clinical experience preferred.
- Familiarity with telehealth-specific licensure, disclosure, reporting considerations, and AthenaHealth EMR preferred.
