Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior Director, FP&A to shape financial strategy and drive operational execution. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead strategic planning, forecasting, and capital allocation within our fast-growing, tech-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead company-wide financial planning, including annual budgeting, long-range forecasting, and strategic capital allocation.
- Prepare executive-level reporting and board presentations that synthesize business performance and drive key decisions.
- Develop and optimize financial models, tools, and systems to improve accuracy and strategic planning.
- Drive improvements in internal controls, data accuracy, and policy development across finance operations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to monitor business performance, evaluate KPIs, and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Oversee investor relations financial deliverables and assist in M&A and other strategic analysis projects.
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing FP&A team in a fast-paced environment.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of experience in FP&A.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Proven success building and leading finance functions in high-growth environments.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (e.g., NRR, LTV, churn, CAC) and recurring revenue models.
- Strong command of financial modeling (cash flow, headcount, ROI) and forecasting techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with NetSuite.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership and boards.
- Strategic, self-directed thinker with strong problem-solving ability and a passion for data-driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic settings and independently lead projects under tight deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Experience ideally within tech or SaaS companies; banking, venture capital, or strategy consulting experience is a plus.
- MBA strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Rippling, Salesforce is a plus.
