Anheuser-Busch is hiring a Senior Director, Commercial to partner directly with dedicated main house wholesalers and elevate our strategic presence in your specific market. You will cultivate high-level relationships, support wholesalers, and drive commercial ownership and oversight of the annual business plan, aligning with our vision to create a future with more cheers.
What You'll Do
- Lead the Commercial strategy for your territory, aligned with the organization's strategic vision, and deliver consistent, meaningful results.
- Build strong business relationships with key wholesalers and internal partners, ensuring alignment between company and customer objectives.
- Oversee Commercial plan development, Wholesaler Joint Business Plans (WJBP), and critical processes like pricing strategy development, price increase sell-in, cents per case audits, and forecasting reviews.
- Manage end-to-end Wholesaler Management and relationships, including planning & performance routines, Trimester planning & strategy implementation, and AOE & WEA assessments.
- Oversee and own the Sales, Share, and Financial performance of dedicated main house wholesalers.
- Provide routine report-outs through Sales Performance Reviews with senior management.
- Understand market dynamics and industry trends to bring new insights and solutions that drive results and lead future growth.
- Build an inspiring vision, prioritize team development, and drive excellence.
- Leverage tools like IRI, CSR, Business Objects, VIPR, and RMIS for strategic business oversight.
- Support and manage pilot projects on an ad-hoc basis.
- Model key leadership capabilities: an ownership mindset, driving transformation, long-term thinking, effective communication, being a culture ambassador, and prioritizing our people.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of Sales and/or Marketing experience, preferably in the beverage or consumer packaged goods industry.
- Thorough knowledge of company products and industry best practices.
- Ability to understand and develop strategic direction and plans to drive results.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and engage people to build a high-performance sales team.
- Strong internal and external customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with employees, customers, and all external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a highly competitive and dynamic work environment with exceptional time management skills.
- A highly self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with the ability to influence and negotiate with partners.

- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- Knowledge of ABC laws & regulations and marketing & advertising guidelines for promotions.
- Knowledge of key consumer product drivers: distribution, merchandising, promotion, pricing, and category management.
