Lead and shape client success at a global marketplace marketing agency by overseeing a portfolio of strategic accounts and managing a team of Account Directors and Account Managers. In this role, you will ensure seamless service delivery, strong client retention, and sustainable revenue growth across key relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct a team of Account Directors, providing leadership and strategic guidance to support client portfolio performance.
- Own financial outcomes including revenue, retention, and client satisfaction across a diverse set of client relationships.
- Identify expansion opportunities by aligning client goals with additional agency capabilities in retail, media, content, analytics, and consulting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure coordinated, high-quality service execution and timely resolution of client needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, maintaining executive-level relationships and leading business reviews.
- Oversee client onboarding, reporting, contract renewals, and risk management processes to ensure long-term success.
- Partner with Finance on profitability analysis, time tracking, and invoicing coordination.
- Lead talent development, staffing, and hiring within the Client Services organization to support evolving client demands.
- Champion operational improvements and lead initiatives that enhance team efficiency and client outcomes.
- Build strong internal partnerships with HR, Operations, and other support functions to strengthen delivery infrastructure.
Qualifications
Applicants should bring over 10 years of experience in marketing agency environments, with a focus on digital performance or eCommerce. You must have at least 5 years of leadership experience managing client services teams and a proven ability to manage complex client portfolios. Direct experience with major retail platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target is essential, as is familiarity with retail media networks like Walmart Connect or Target Roundel.
Success in this role requires strong business acumen, executive communication skills, and the ability to connect client challenges with strategic marketing solutions. A collaborative mindset and experience driving cross-functional delivery are critical.
