SAP Software Solutions | Business Applications and Technology is hiring a Senior Director, Brand Architecture, Naming and Taxonomy. This role leads a critical function within Global Marketing, providing strategic direction to help customers, prospects, and partners navigate our complex portfolio. The ideal candidate combines deep brand architecture expertise with AI literacy to modernize our approach.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic leadership and counsel to senior stakeholders across Global Marketing, product marketing, and product management on brand architecture, naming, and taxonomy.
- Lead and develop the Naming Team, agency partners, and contractors, leveraging both human expertise and AI-enabled tools to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Champion modern, data and AI-informed approaches, including using AI for portfolio analysis, linguistic validation, and competitive intelligence.
- Direct the team’s enablement assets, frameworks, and governance models to empower teams across SAP to make smarter, faster decisions.
- Foster a highly collaborative, service-oriented approach while maintaining the discipline required to manage a global brand.
What We're Looking For
- Strong AI understanding and experience, with the ability to apply it to brand architecture, naming, and taxonomy challenges.
- Deep subject matter expertise with 15+ years of experience in brand architecture, naming, taxonomy, and brand strategy, with a proven, highly analytic approach.
- Executive-level skills to guide, influence, and inspire senior executives, including the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- A collaborative mindset and service-oriented manner.
Nice to Have
- Experience with large, B2B companies (technology preferred) that have a vast and complex portfolio of products and services.
- Consulting or agency experience.

Benefits & Compensation
- Annualized base salary range: $168,800 - $385,500 USD plus a variable incentive target.
