Lead and shape credit analysis for asset-backed securities tied to digital infrastructure, with a focus on fiber networks and wireless towers across North America. This role leads analytical teams in evaluating complex transaction structures, assessing credit quality, and delivering forward-looking ratings within a structured finance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct deal teams in assessing credit, legal, and structural components of ABS transactions involving digital infrastructure
- Manage a portfolio of fiber and tower securitizations, leading rating analyses and engaging with issuers, bankers, and investors
- Apply credit models and cashflow analysis tools to evaluate risk, incorporating evolving market dynamics
- Monitor key sector developments such as 5G expansion, fiber deployment, regulatory shifts, and carrier credit trends
- Contribute to the development of rating methodologies and sector-specific criteria for digital infrastructure ABS
- Lead or support research initiatives on sector trends and structural innovations
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a BA/BS degree and have at least seven years of experience in corporate finance or credit analysis, preferably within telecommunications or digital infrastructure. Prior team leadership experience is essential, along with strong analytical and written communication skills.
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects, interpret complex financial and operational data, and adapt quickly to structured finance concepts. A solid grasp of economic and credit fundamentals is required, as is a willingness to deepen expertise in ABS frameworks.
