Care Access is hiring a Senior Director of Accounting to provide strategic leadership and oversight for our accounting operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial close processes.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and accounting policies.
- Direct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex transactions.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Expert knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proven experience leading a remote accounting team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
Work Mode
