As a Senior Digital Advertising Strategist, you will take ownership of digital campaigns designed to advance progressive causes, candidates, and nonprofit initiatives. You'll lead the development and execution of targeted advertising strategies across platforms like Facebook and Google, focusing on measurable outcomes in fundraising, audience acquisition, and persuasive messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary strategist for high-impact clients, managing direct-response and advocacy campaigns from concept to completion
- Design comprehensive media plans with clear KPIs and allocate budgets to maximize performance
- Write compelling ad copy and develop creative direction in collaboration with designers
- Optimize landing pages and conversion paths to improve campaign effectiveness
- Run and refine paid campaigns across multiple platforms, adjusting in real time based on performance data
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, including participation in client channels and meetings
- Ensure all advertising efforts reflect and support each client’s mission and strategic objectives
- Analyze campaign results thoroughly and use insights to shape future tactics and messaging
- Train internal teams on best practices in digital advertising and platform updates
- Stay informed on research related to voter engagement, persuasion techniques, and civic participation
- Coordinate with email fundraising teams to create integrated, multi-channel strategies
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and urgent opportunities as they arise
- Delegate tasks effectively and support team members to maintain project momentum
Qualifications
Candidates should bring at least two years of hands-on experience managing digital ad campaigns, with proven skills in copywriting, strategic planning, and client management. You must be capable of leading an advertising program independently, from initial planning through optimization and reporting.
Experience in political or advocacy advertising is strongly preferred, as is a demonstrated dedication to progressive values. Familiarity with Facebook Ads and Google Ads is essential.

Compensation and Benefits
