As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and advancing a robust, cloud-based production environment. Your work will ensure high availability, performance, and security across distributed systems, directly supporting a platform built to expand financial access. You’ll partner with development teams to refine deployment practices, enhance monitoring, and strengthen operational resilience.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with engineers to improve system reliability, scalability, and incident response
- Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and version-controlled workflows
- Support and enhance the CI/CD pipeline for web and mobile applications using GitLab, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
- Participate in on-call rotations to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for performance, cost, and security compliance
- Document operational procedures with clarity and precision
- Operate containerized services and support secure, repeatable deployment processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years managing AWS environments at scale
- Proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or systems operations within 24x7 production settings
- Strong scripting ability in Python or Bash
- Hands-on experience with Git and infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and SDLC automation tools
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, DNS, and secure shell protocols
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments
- Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Background in MLOps or deploying machine learning systems
- Exposure to AI-driven tooling in operational contexts
