About the Role
Lead strategic initiatives to grow developer communities in the energy sector, specifically within power generation. Build relationships with key stakeholders, support technical enablement, and drive adoption of advanced computing platforms through events, content, and direct collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead outreach programs targeting software developers in the power generation industry
- Design and execute technical engagement strategies to expand platform adoption
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align developer needs with product development
- Organize and speak at industry conferences, workshops, and hackathons
- Create technical content including tutorials, sample code, and documentation
- Identify and support key developers building applications on advanced computing platforms
- Monitor ecosystem trends and provide feedback to internal product teams
- Develop metrics to measure developer engagement and program effectiveness
- Partner with marketing to promote developer tools and resources
- Serve as a trusted advisor to external developers and internal stakeholders
- Facilitate onboarding for new developers joining the ecosystem
- Advocate for developer needs in product planning discussions
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of GPU computing, AI, and data center infrastructure
- Support cross-team initiatives involving AI applications in energy systems
- Drive feedback loops between developers and platform engineers
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree or PhD in a technical discipline
- Prior experience in energy or utilities software development
- History of open-source contributions or community leadership
- Published technical articles, presentations, or conference talks
- Experience with developer tools for AI and accelerated computing
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud deployment for HPC workloads
- Knowledge of grid modeling, power plant simulation, or industrial control systems
