Responsibilities

- Monitor project timelines and deliverables related to design phases
- Support bid and tender preparation with design input
- Maintain quality assurance across all design documentation
- Facilitate design reviews and risk assessments
- Promote collaboration between engineering, construction, and project management teams
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in design delivery
- Mentor and develop junior design staff
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams on design integration
- Champion digital design tools and BIM implementation
- Ensure designs meet client expectations and project goals
- Manage design changes and variation control processes
- Support project governance and reporting requirements
- Work closely with project managers to align design with construction schedules
- Contribute to post-project evaluations and lessons learned
