Zeeco is hiring a Senior Design Drafter

Responsibilities

• Evaluates mechanical project specifications to develop suitable equipment designs.
• Supports engineering staff in verifying proper equipment selection and design accuracy.
• Creates detailed technical drawings of components, assemblies, and systems, including multiple perspectives, cross-sections, complex angles, and fine internal features.
• Uses computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to produce both two-dimensional and three-dimensional design outputs.
• Performs mathematical calculations using established formulas and engineering standards.
• Receives assignments with guidance on methods, data sources, reference materials, and verbal direction from engineers or supervisors; may receive minor revision tasks with brief outcome descriptions.
• Collaborates with project engineers to ensure all necessary drawings are finalized and align with project criteria, including reviewing client-marked prints and addressing feedback.
• Conducts field visits to manufacturing shops or project sites to support design modifications and guide production teams as needed.
• Demonstrates skill in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, Adobe software, and web-based design platforms.
• Reviews and verifies the accuracy of drawings produced by self and other drafters or designers.
