Kardex is hiring a Senior Design Consultant to drive the sales of new AutoStore projects. You will work closely with sales teams to analyze customer data and design optimal logistics and IT solutions, with the core responsibility of convincing customers of the solution's benefits.
What You'll Do
- Design and sell AutoStore systems and solutions.
- Support the entire sales phase from initial lead until contract signing.
- Analyze customer data to evaluate performance, trends, and requirements.
- Meet with clients to discuss their logistics, processes, and procedures.
- Create optimal logistics and IT solutions that deliver clear customer benefit.
- Maintain constant customer communication and strong client relationships.
- Work with procurement and engineering to identify external service providers for designed solutions.
- Assist sales in the handover of sold projects to the project team.
- Stay active on sold projects until the functional specification (SW) and detailed designs are complete.
- Stay in touch with customers during the project to ensure continuity through the timeline.
- Provide market overviews and identify new market potential.
- Assess delivered projects to identify areas for continued improvement.
- Develop standard solutions, such as goods-to-robot picking, to differentiate Kardex.
- Introduce and improve tools (e.g., calculation, dimensioning) and the overall sales processes.
- Support new colleagues at other locations, particularly in EMEA and APAC.
