About the Role

The role involves leading data center operations, supporting scalable infrastructure, and implementing resilient system designs to meet organizational demands.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy scalable data center architectures
  • Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues
  • Implement network and server hardware configurations
  • Ensure uptime and reliability of critical infrastructure
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Maintain compliance with security and operational standards
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware and software failures
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades and technology refresh cycles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration projects
  • Document system configurations and operational procedures
  • Manage capacity planning and resource forecasting
  • Optimize power and cooling efficiency in data environments
  • Enforce change management protocols for system updates
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for infrastructure improvements
  • Provide technical guidance during incident response
  • Support cloud connectivity and hybrid deployment models
  • Ensure physical security of data center facilities
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and support
  • Perform root cause analysis on system outages
  • Maintain accurate asset and configuration records
  • Implement monitoring tools for real-time system insights
  • Assist in audits and compliance reviews
  • Drive automation initiatives for operational efficiency
  • Train team members on best practices and procedures
  • Respond to after-hours operational alerts as needed
