Jobgether seeks a Senior Data & AI Architect to lead enterprise-wide AI and data transformation initiatives. In this remote role, you will combine strategic consulting with hands-on technical execution, working directly with clients to design modern data architectures, implement advanced AI solutions, and operationalize analytics capabilities in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on AI and data transformation initiatives.
- Lead discovery sessions to define business objectives, assess organizational readiness, and identify high-value use cases.
- Design and implement enterprise data architectures, including lakehouse and medallion patterns, as well as AI/ML solutions.
- Develop AI governance, model risk management, and responsible AI frameworks aligned with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Oversee cross-functional project teams, including data engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts, ensuring successful delivery.
- Conduct assessments, gap analyses, and process re-engineering to optimize workflows and embed data-driven decision-making.
- Produce technical design documents, architectural diagrams, and solution blueprints for complex initiatives.
- Provide guidance on organizational change management, capability building, and AI operationalization.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in data management, analytics, and AI implementation roles.
- 5+ years leading client-facing consulting engagements with strategic responsibility.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise data platforms and AI solutions at scale.
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML technologies, including predictive modeling, deep learning, and generative AI (LLMs, RAG architectures).
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data integration tools, and MLOps/DataOps practices.
- Strong understanding of data governance, master data management, and data stewardship principles.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in multiple industries such as insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, or banking is highly desirable.
