Responsibilities
- Develop and manage scalable data pipelines for processing large volumes of transactional and behavioral data
- Design data models that support fast querying and reporting for business intelligence
- Collaborate with analytics and product teams to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality through monitoring, validation, and alerting systems
- Optimize data storage and query performance across cloud platforms
- Maintain documentation for data schemas, ETL processes, and pipeline architecture
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and pipeline failures
- Implement data governance practices to ensure compliance and security
- Work with streaming and batch data processing frameworks
- Support the integration of new data sources into existing infrastructure
- Contribute to the development of dashboards and reporting tools
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Improve data reliability and system observability
- Automate repetitive data operations and workflows
- Use SQL and programming languages to extract and transform data
- Integrate machine learning outputs into production data systems
- Collaborate on schema evolution and database migration tasks
- Monitor system performance and implement scalability improvements
- Support data privacy and anonymization requirements
