Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure legal compliance for new features and user-facing experiences
- Continuously update and refine legal policies and documentation
- Work with Trust & Safety to create systems for handling disputes, moderating content, and responding to incidents
- Provide guidance on legal liability related to digital platforms and protections for intermediaries
- Ensure adherence to regulations in North America and the European Union, including consumer rights, data privacy, and lodging rules
- Offer periodic support on marketing compliance, such as digital advertising terms and promotional campaigns
- Lead negotiations for contracts involving technology collaborations, marketing vendors, and supplier marketplaces
