About the Role
The consultant will lead and support research initiatives focused on residential real estate markets, delivering actionable insights through data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of residential property markets across key urban centers
- Produce regular market reports covering supply, demand, pricing, and rental trends
- Gather and validate data from public records, listings platforms, and proprietary sources
- Develop forecasts and outlooks for residential sectors using statistical models
- Support client engagements with tailored research and presentations
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure data consistency
- Identify emerging market trends and shifts in housing demand
- Present findings to stakeholders through dashboards, reports, and briefings
- Maintain databases of residential metrics including absorption, vacancy, and inventory
- Contribute to thought leadership content such as white papers and market commentaries
- Respond to custom research requests from internal and external clients
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all published research outputs
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting housing markets
- Work with data visualization tools to communicate complex information clearly
- Support the development of standardized research methodologies
- Assist in training junior team members on research processes
- Participate in client meetings and industry events
- Track competitor activity and benchmark performance
- Use GIS and mapping tools to analyze geographic patterns in housing data
- Integrate macroeconomic indicators into residential market analysis
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local planning policies and development pipelines
- Collaborate with technology teams to improve research automation
- Ensure compliance with internal quality assurance standards
- Contribute to cross-sector projects involving multifamily or build-to-rent segments
- Manage deadlines for recurring research deliverables
