Seattle Children's is looking for a Senior Consultant, Business Development to act as a bridge between strategic planning and operational execution. You will manage complex initiatives that span multiple service lines and programs, translating our founding promise of care for all into actionable strategies and recommendations.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage strategic planning for focus program service lines.
- Review, research, assess, analyze, and implement strategic initiatives and development projects.
- Coordinate complex programs to implement organizational goals and strategic objectives.
- Recommend financial and non-financial strategic alternatives.
- Implement initiatives including project management, facilitation, and operational planning.
- Track progress against the strategic plan, identifying and monitoring issues and outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver communication initiatives for diverse audiences, including executive leadership and board members.
- Conduct pro-forma analyses and develop actionable strategies.
- Create and deliver targeted communication plans.
- Act in an informal lead capacity for other consultants.
- Train operations VPs and Directors on business development processes.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum eight years in consulting, strategic planning, business development, and/or project leadership in healthcare or related industries.
- Minimum six years working in a complex health care setting in a leadership/management role, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated successful experience working with executive teams, third-party providers, governmental agencies, health plans, and external vendors.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related healthcare field.
- Eight years of progressively responsible experience in strategic planning, business development, or project management.
- Significant and demonstrated expertise in leading complex change management in a multifaceted organizational setting.
- General knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, CPI, and/or Kaizen.
Team & Environment
Direction is provided by the Resource Manager, whom this role reports to.

- Compensation: $129,992.00 - $194,988.00 per year.
