Arup seeks a Senior Consultant within our People & Change consulting practice. In this role, you will apply in-depth knowledge and specialist skills to lead and manage the delivery of client projects across leadership & capability, culture & organisational change, and operating model & organisation development. What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the delivery of a range of client projects across technical areas: leadership & capability, culture & organisational change, operating model & organisation development.
- Liaise closely with key client stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of set project outcomes.
- Review, analyse and report on client’s organisational behaviour and cultural landscape.
- Apply knowledge of organisational change theories and practices to make recommendations to client challenges.
- Lead a team of consultants in the development and delivery of end-to-end transformational programmes by setting standards, defining quality, and providing technical and people management support.
- Manage project planning, outlining full projects/activities and resources required, including time, people and skills.
- Conduct financial reviews and reporting, provide technical leadership and client relationship management.
- Contribute to business development and work opportunities, developing compelling and winning proposals.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in people and change consulting.
- Background in two or more technical areas: team effectiveness & collaboration, leadership & capability, culture & organisational change, operating model & organisation development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to help shape and deliver the best solution.
- Strong commercial acumen and project management/delivery skills.
- Capability in developing business proposals for clients, understanding client requirements and drawing together expertise from across a multi-disciplinary firm.
- Experience of business development, project management/scheduling and leading teams of consultants.
- Ability to demonstrate a methodological and creative approach to decision-making even in an ambiguous environment.
Nice to Have
- A degree in a relevant discipline.
- Ideally a chartered member with a relevant professional institute.
- A background in one or more of the following sectors: Rail, Highways, Energy, Aviation and/or Water.
