Lnw is seeking a Senior Configuration Engineer responsible for the technical implementation of in-game events, promotions, content releases, and features in the live game environment. You will work closely with the Executive Producer, Product Manager, Marketing Manager, and QA to ensure timely releases and maintain smooth live game operations.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the successful launch of in-game events, promotions, new content, and features in the live game environment.
- Conduct rigorous testing to ensure all admin tools are working as intended.
- Set up store logic and sales through admin tools.
- Work with the Product Manager to maintain the status of all live events and slot releases.
- Communicate with the game team about issues in the live game.
- Provide feedback for continuous test improvement.
- Submit and track any product issues found during testing to ensure resolution.
- Reproduce issues when necessary to assist software development in resolving problems.
- Assist QA with testing and provide training on admin tools as necessary.
- Facilitate the movement of events through environments from development to production.
- Use MySQL Databases, NoSQL Databases, and administrative tools while working off schedules provided by the game team.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of work experience majorly on live/production environment configuration.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience with project management software (Jira, Rally, Hansoft).
- Proficient understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to efficiently regulate and prioritize tasks.
- Capability to meet quick deadlines and deliver precise, effective results in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of computers and experience troubleshooting computer problems.
- Must be detail-oriented and have experience with database administration.
- Must be flexible with hours as events occur throughout the day.
- One in-person interview is required at our Bangalore office.
- This role involves working in shifts from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM IST.
