Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the performance and stability of a multi-component computer vision system involving semantic segmentation, object detection, image classification, and optical flow estimation.
- Define the technical direction and long-term strategy for segments of the computer vision pipeline, including critical choices in architecture and algorithms to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead the modification of current models and creation of new modules for future initiatives, aligning technical development with business objectives.
- Manage the full data workflow for computer vision models, including setting annotation standards, ensuring data integrity, and coordinating with an internal annotation team.
- Develop high-quality, production-ready Python code that is clean, scalable, and follows rigorous software engineering standards.
- Orchestrate model training, testing, and assessment using on-site Linux server resources.
