Ferguson is hiring a Senior Compensation Analyst to own the design, administration, and governance of our compensation programs. You’ll report to the Director of General Compensation and collaborate closely with the Total Rewards COE, HRIS, Compensation Operations, and HR Business Partners.
What You'll Do
- Support compensation initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations and increase effectiveness through improved processes and technology.
- Conduct market pricing using survey data from providers like Mercer, Radford, and WTW to assess competitiveness and maintain internal equity.
- Support the strategy, design, and policy development for compensation and incentive programs, including career framework, job architecture, and salary structures.
- Review and ensure alignment to compensation guidelines, structures, and governance practices.
- Partner with HR Operations on activities resulting from Total Rewards projects, job creation, and updates to existing programs.
- Support changes to compensation programs to align with organizational objectives.
- Assist in improving compensation processes, focusing on efficiency, reducing exceptions, and automation.
- Support the development and implementation of education, tools, guidelines, and communication to promote understanding.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws, including FLSA, pay equity, and transparency laws.
- Maintain documentation and audit-ready records of compensation decisions and processes.
- Handle other compensation-related programs and research activities.

- 5-7 years of compensation or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to act as a trusted resource and build productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
- Strong experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Nice to Have
- Experience with Workday preferred.
