The Senior Communications Strategist (Mensch) at WPP Media will support strategic communication for a Wellbeing client, acting as a key liaison to ensure global campaigns stay on track. In this role, you'll collaborate across creative, data, and planning teams in WPP Media’s AI-driven environment to develop integrated, insight-led strategies.
What You'll Do
- Support strategic account management for a Wellbeing client and act as a key interface to keep global campaigns on track
- Develop integrated communications and media strategies and derive channel mix, media roles, and budget logics
- Analyze target groups, media usage, competition, and cultural trends and translate data and insights into clear strategic derivations
- Develop deep understanding of audiences and consumption contexts around health, body awareness, and personal care to inform strategic communication
- Define cross-channel media strategies along the customer journey and collaborate closely with planning teams on data-driven media plans
- Work closely with creative, data, account, and planning teams to develop holistic communication solutions
- Use data-driven tools and AI-based approaches to evolve strategic processes and identify new media and communication approaches
- Support strategic pitches and develop compelling narratives and storylines for presentations
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in a media, communications, or strategy agency or in strategic marketing
- Interest in Wellbeing & Female Health topics and a desire to strategically advance communication in these categories
- Ability to translate data, market analyses, and consumer insights into clear strategic recommendations
- Strong understanding of traditional and digital media channels and their role along the customer journey
- Structured, data-driven working style with the ability to make complex relationships understandable
- Ability to clearly prepare and convincingly present strategic ideas in both German and English
