Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to serve as the site-based QAQCx Owner’s Representative in Bangkok. This role is responsible for enforcing our Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Commissioning Program, acting as the first point of contact for all program-related questions on the project site.
What You'll Do
- Lead the project Quality and Commissioning program requirements, holding stakeholders accountable to the GC’s QA/QC Plan, the CxA’s Commissioning Plan, and our Project Manual.
- Act as the primary point of contact for DCS, DCOps, and HWops teams for all Quality and Commissioning matters.
- Participate actively in all Quality and Commissioning meetings and other project-level coordination meetings as required.
- Support DCS with site management of CxA resources, reviewing monthly invoices and any change order proposals.
- Review project documentation (drawings, RFIs, submittals), vendor/subcontractor QC plans, method statements, and completed QC documentation.
- Monitor the FWT/FAT process, ensure necessary parties attend FWTs, and participate as directed.
- Ensure project Quality and Commissioning issues are reported in the project’s designated platform (BIM360 Field 2.0) and resolved satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
- Support the CxA in getting Quality and Commissioning activities incorporated into the GC’s master schedule, participating in schedule reviews and reporting on slippages.
- Ensure the Cx L2-L3 checklist tagging matrix is populated with planned dates and track actual completion dates, escalating slippages as necessary.
- Monitor the overall Cx L2-L3 process, escalate concerns, and attend on-site owner inspections as needed.
- Ensure a smooth transition from Cx L3 to L4 testing, supporting the CxA and DCOps teams toward "drama-free" FRs.
- Support the completion of the Facility Ready Checklist as part of turnover.
- Ensure TIMWOODS issues are actively captured and followed up, and participate in GC Quality Circles and audits.
- Ensure project Lessons Learned are actively captured and the Closed Loop Learning process is applied to significant events.
What We're Looking For
- Must be fluent in Thai.
- Has experience managing similar programs in Thailand.
- Ability to work without any work restrictions.
