Responsibilities
- Develop gameplay mechanics, situations, and character features that deliver engaging but intuitive combat for players
- Partner with level designers, engineers, animators, and other roles to build, test, and refine combat systems and content for a major upcoming project
- Concentrate on designing core player combat elements including movement, weapons, and special abilities
- Define how enemies act, including their tactics, powers, and equipment
- Contribute to essential non-combat player systems such as camera control, environmental interaction, and movement mechanics
- Iterate on combat design using data from playtests and feedback from both internal teams and external sources
