Netsmart is seeking a Senior Coding & OASIS Reviewer to ensure clinical documentation integrity and accurate reimbursement for our home health and hospice agency clients. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding to uphold quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Review OASIS assessments and document recommended changes in the approved system.
- Review ICD-10 coding and sequencing based on documentation in the patient chart.
- Complete documentation of results review, ensuring workflow processes are timely and accurate.
- Document the reason for changes and the recommended reimbursement impact.
- Consistently meet chart equivalent targets and quality metrics of 60 CEs per week.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in medical coding or OASIS review work.
- HCS-D certification.
- HCS-O OR COS-C certification.
- Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail with excellent organization skills.
- Demonstrated learning agility; seeks out opportunities for teaching, support, and professional growth.
Nice to Have
- Quality assurance work experience in a post-acute setting.
