Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions for high availability and scalability
- Manage cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency
- Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment and operational workflows
- Monitor system health and respond to incidents with minimal downtime
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and integration
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards across cloud platforms
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across distributed systems
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and incident resolutions
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support
- Evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies and services
- Optimize resource utilization and cloud spending through continuous analysis
- Support disaster recovery planning and execution
- Ensure infrastructure as code practices are followed consistently
- Lead root cause analysis for major system outages
- Promote best practices in monitoring, alerting, and observability
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline
- Certifications in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with large-scale SaaS environments
- Background in site reliability engineering
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies
