Wizards of the Coast (Skeleton Key studio) is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Developer to join our core build engineering team. You will develop and structure a shared Unreal Engine ecosystem across internal game studios, focused on unlocking developer potential, ensuring build stability, and optimizing iteration flows for multiple simultaneous titles.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the team to design a turnkey, cloud-first suite of Unreal Engine build systems and tools.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code to ensure consistency and reproducibility.
- Provide operational support for AWS infrastructure related to the build system.
- Support and administer studio-specific Perforce environments.
- Work with studio teams to optimize systems for cost, scalability, and latency.
- Define standards and best practices for performance, observability, and maintainability of build pipelines.
- Act as a technical partner and mentor to studio engineers, helping teams effectively adopt and scale shared systems.
- Innovate with emerging technologies in build, cloud, and AI.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of cloud solution design patterns (microservices, messaging, distributed cache, containers, networking, IAM) and experience building solutions on AWS.
- Deep experience in infrastructure as code development (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform) and GitOps practices.
- Experience in administration or advanced expertise with Perforce.
- 3+ years of software development experience, including compiled languages (C#, Golang, or TypeScript) and scripting languages (Bash, Python, JavaScript).
- Excellent ability to build trust and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

- Experience with Unreal or other game engines.
