What You'll Do
Lead the design and expansion of our AWS cloud environment to support growing platform demands while maintaining strong performance, reliability, and compliance with security standards. You’ll implement infrastructure-as-code practices using CloudFormation and related tooling to automate provisioning and ensure consistency across environments.
Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools, enabling seamless and secure deployments. You’ll work closely with development, data, and security teams to refine deployment workflows and reduce system downtime.
Optimize PostgreSQL databases for speed and resilience, ensuring data integrity and high availability. Enhance system observability by leveraging CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Athena to investigate issues and proactively identify risks.
Respond quickly to critical vulnerabilities by assessing and resolving CVEs across services. Champion DevOps principles by integrating automation, monitoring, and security into every phase of the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP
- At least 3 years using Python or another high-level programming language such as Go or Ruby
- Proficiency in Bash and SQL for scripting and database operations
- Hands-on experience with CloudFormation or other infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
- Familiarity with AWS services including ECS on Fargate, CodePipeline, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar platforms
- Ability to analyze logs using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and query tools like Athena
- Background in migrating workloads from Intel to ARM-based compute platforms
