What You'll Do
Own and refine the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient deployments across distributed systems. Help transition infrastructure toward Kubernetes on AWS while maintaining high availability and performance standards.
Design and implement self-service automation tools that empower development teams to deploy and monitor services independently. Strengthen system reliability through proactive observability, incident response, and continuous improvement practices rooted in SRE principles.
Collaborate with engineers across time zones to maintain and upgrade infrastructure, occasionally working outside standard hours to support critical maintenance and system improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a DevOps or platform engineering role
- Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Pulumi
- Strong scripting ability in Bash, Python, Ruby, or Go, with a focus on CI/CD automation
- Familiarity with AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, and EKS
- Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters
- Solid grasp of networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS, load balancing, and VPNs
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Understanding of security and compliance integration within deployment workflows
