About the Role
This role is responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring material availability, and supporting supply chain operations through strategic sourcing and planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing and contract terms
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet production demands
- Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with production schedules
- Ensure timely delivery of materials by working closely with suppliers
- Analyze supply market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Support supplier onboarding and performance evaluation processes
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Collaborate with quality and engineering teams on supplier qualifications
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
- Manage purchase order lifecycle from initiation to closure
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Provide data analysis to support sourcing decisions
- Work with logistics partners to optimize inbound supply flow
- Support new product introduction activities from a supply perspective
- Track key performance metrics for procurement and planning
- Resolve supplier-related issues impacting production
- Participate in cross-functional project teams
- Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders
- Support cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing
- Evaluate supplier capacity and scalability
- Ensure alignment with long-term supply strategy
- Assist in audits and compliance reviews
