Babcock International is looking for a Senior Buyer to support essential procurement activities within our national defence operations. You'll be responsible for managing the supply chain in a complex, mission-critical environment that contributes directly to a safe and secure world.
What You'll Do
- Lead procurement activities within a complex, regulated defence environment
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure supply chain integrity for mission-critical projects
- Navigate and comply with stringent national security and defence procurement protocols
- Contribute to strategic sourcing decisions that impact project outcomes and security objectives
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within defence, aerospace, government, or other highly regulated sectors
- Ability to manage complex contracts and supplier negotiations
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating proposals, costs, and supply chain risks
- Knowledge of relevant trade compliance and security requirements
