Our Financial Services Advisory Practice is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead digital transformation and strategic change projects for our Banking partners. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of projects, from planning and execution to delivery and closure.
What You'll Do
- Engage with business users to understand problem statements and agree on scope.
- Interview product owners to understand as-is business processes and design customer-driven to-be processes.
- Document process models and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Map customer experience using tools like personas and customer journeys.
- Gather and analyze statistical data to support the business case for change.
- Research and analyze best-in-class industry processes to support digitization and simplification of customer journeys.
- Support the Business in planning and designing digital strategies that encourage customer retention and loyalty.
- Bring industry experience and thought leadership to advise on trends, future operating models, and best-in-class journeys.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business context and marketplace.
- Employ process modelling techniques to capture requirements and work with Product Owners and Development teams to deliver improvements.
- Work with multiple product owners to write and develop clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support and contribute to a metrics-driven culture within the function.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services.
- Design thinking, ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations, clear communication, and experience conducting workshops to drive decision making.
- Experience in documenting business cases, business process modelling, and requirement elicitation through workshops.
- Ability to manage projects from inception through design to delivery.
- An IT background with a solid grounding in technology.
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall SDLCs.
- Strong communication, group dynamics, collaboration, and continuous improvement skills.
Nice to Have
- A 2.1 or higher in a related discipline from an academic institution; a Master's degree is a plus.
Team & Environment
You will be part of NTT DATA's Financial Services Advisory Practice, working on strategic projects with major Banking clients.
