Responsibilities
- Executes advanced engineering tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Ensures high standards of organization and work quality.
- May serve as lead bridge or structural engineer on small to mid-sized projects or be assigned to project teams.
- Interprets and extracts engineering data from CAD drawings.
- Develops engineering calculations, material takeoffs, cost estimates, and design solutions.
- Produces construction-ready deliverables including drawings, specifications, and procurement documents.
- Collaborates regularly with multiple engineering disciplines and internal departments.
- Provides technical direction to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers on project tasks.
- Oversees plan production for smaller projects and supports plan development for larger ones.
- Demonstrates skill in non-standard structural detailing.
- May be required to apply a professional engineer's seal and signature, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and regulations.
- May advise senior leadership on engineering-related issues.
