The Senior Billing Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Billing Manager within a global professional services firm, ensuring accurate and timely billing while contributing to operational excellence. This position acts as a subject matter expert, handling complex queries and helping shape standardised, efficient billing practices across international teams.
What You'll Do
- Support the Billing Manager in leading day-to-day billing operations
- Ensure accurate and timely billing
- Act as a subject matter expert on billing matters
- Serve as the first point of escalation for complex billing queries
- Drive operational excellence in billing processes
- Support process improvements within the billing function
- Provide training to new staff members
- Contribute to standardising billing practices
- Support the growth of a high-performing billing function aligned with business needs
- Play a key role in shaping and standardising processes
- Support system enhancements, automation, and continuous improvement across global billing operations
What We're Looking For
- Strong billing experience in a professional services or legal environment
- Understanding of time recording, billing cycles, client billing requirements, and compliance standards
- Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and high-volume workloads
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence interacting with senior stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience training or mentoring team members
- Exposure to process improvement or system implementation
- Familiarity with billing systems (Elite 3E, Intapp, iManage)
