Responsibilities

- Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot production issues

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Evaluate and integrate new data sources
- Support secure data transfer protocols
- Work with streaming and batch processing systems
- Refactor legacy integration code for better performance
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews and system design discussions
- Implement authentication and authorization for data access
- Scale infrastructure to meet growing data volume demands
- Ensure compliance with data privacy standards
- Use version control and CI/CD practices
- Diagnose and resolve data synchronization issues
- Collaborate on incident response and post-mortems
- Stay current with backend and data engineering best practices
- Help define engineering standards for integration projects
