The Implementation Engineer is responsible for bringing FacilityOS platform solutions to life by configuring, testing, and deploying data integrations and custom workflows. Working closely with both technical teams and clients, this role ensures that system configurations meet project requirements and operate reliably in real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy data integrations using SQL Server Integration Services, Python, and Azure Logic Apps
- Write and maintain custom SQL queries within the FacilityOS environment to support client-specific needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily standups
- Support troubleshooting efforts for deployed solutions and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Create and execute unit tests to validate functionality and ensure deployment quality
- Use Jira to manage tasks and track progress throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Monitor and respond to support requests via ZenDesk to maintain service reliability
- Occasionally travel to client sites for on-site setup, configuration, and training when required
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least two years of experience working with SQL and one year with C# .NET or equivalent technologies. A solid understanding of database architecture and integration patterns is essential. Familiarity with ETL processes, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based workflows is highly valued.
- Preferred experience includes SSIS, Azure Logic Apps, Git, Visual Studio, SAML2, and unit testing frameworks
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring presence in the Toronto office at least three days per week after the initial onboarding period, with flexibility to work remotely the remaining days.
