Responsibilities
- Report to the PingOne Admin Experience Manager
- Play the role of an Individual Contributor as well as a tech lead in the team
- Help with ensuring that the team follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices
- Lead the architecture designs for the team initiatives
- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers in clarifying initiatives’ requirements and mock designs
- Facilitate communication with other engineering teams to address dependencies and resolve blockers affecting the teams' initiatives
Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience as a backend SDE
- At least 5 years of experience in developing SaaS applications
- Proficient in developing with Java FW
- Extensive experience in developing test automation, including unit tests, and integration tests
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies
- Vast experience in utilizing DevOps practices as part of the development process
- Understanding of DevOps principles to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes, and ensure continuous integration and delivery
- Experience with analysing product requirements and designing software architecture
- Experience with coaching and mentoring lower-level software engineers
Nice to Have
- Experience with front-end development (particularly with React Redux)
- Experience with some of the following technologies: Spring Boot, Kafka, Cassandra
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Past experience with leading teams
- Experience working with offshore teams
