The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in shaping Omio's technical future by designing and leading high-impact, cross-team projects that advance the company's capabilities in distributed systems and AI-native development. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership, requiring collaboration across departments and ownership from concept to delivery.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and evangelize cross-team projects with company-wide business impact
- Push forward the technical status-quo of the organization
- Have end-to-end responsibility for gathering requirements, creating delivery plans, and handling alignment between teams/departments
- Lead internal discussions about the direction of major areas of technology at Omio
- Mentor and inspire engineers across the organization
- Work out architecture, engineering best practices, and solutions across the Tech department
- Contribute to internal and external tech-talks representing Omio
- Provide full and detailed analysis, insightful comments, and recommendations for action
- Contribute to the development of the tribe strategy across the organization
- Champion and drive the architectural evolution towards AI-native development and agent-based engineering practices
