McKesson is hiring a Senior Associate Product Manager to join our RetinaOS team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of product features, translating business requirements into actionable user stories, and facilitating communication between teams to ensure the development of high-quality solutions.
What You'll Do
- Ensure a clear understanding of customer problems and solutions aligned with business strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate enhancement requests, and triage defects.
- Create PRDs, user stories, mockups, and wireframes.
- Document detailed functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
- Define success criteria for projects and features.
- Create clear business process models, flowcharts, and diagrams.
- Collaborate with Support and Customer Success teams to resolve issues.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive requirements.
- Analyze and prioritize requirements to define well-scoped projects.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, QA testers, scrum masters, and senior product managers.
- Foster effective communication to ensure team alignment and shared understanding.
- Participate actively in team meetings, brainstorming, and knowledge sharing.
- Establish and maintain agreements between team members on requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define and refine the product roadmap, budget, and resource planning.
- Regularly collaborate with offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Optimize the product backlog to enhance quality and reduce time-to-release.
- Collaborate with learning and development teams to plan and communicate release plans.
- Support portfolio management and prioritize projects based on business needs.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure enhancement and defect needs are met.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans, cases, and verify Sprint tickets.
- Support the testing process, including execution and issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement.
- Provide input for enhancing business processes and systems.
What We're Looking For
- A degree or equivalent and typically 2+ years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of product ownership or business analyst experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, or inventory systems.
- Familiarity with clinical workflows, drug administration, or medical inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data and system logic.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently with significant latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
Nice to Have
- Product expertise in clinic workflow & operations, especially in ophthalmology.
- Familiarity with Ophthalmology or Retina practice operations.
