Juniper Square is hiring a Senior Associate, Fund Administration (Accounting) - India

Role Overview

As a Senior Associate in Fund Accounting, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of fund financial operations. You'll manage core accounting tasks, support valuation processes, and ensure accurate reporting across assigned funds within a scalable, technology-enabled environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily transactions such as trade settlements, income and expense accruals, and corporate actions.
  • Support the calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) by verifying inputs and contributing to valuation procedures.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory submissions.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of cash, holdings, and portfolio data on daily, monthly, and annual cycles.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in accounting records promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with fund accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to refine workflows and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all accounting activities.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, along with at least three years of experience in fund accounting. You should have a solid grasp of accounting principles as applied to investment funds, strong analytical abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced setting are essential.

Preference will be given to candidates with a CPA or CFA designation, experience with international fund structures—particularly Luxembourg-domiciled funds—and familiarity with private equity, real estate, infrastructure, or debt instruments. Knowledge of IFRS, consolidation practices, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are advantageous. Experience with fund accounting systems is also beneficial.

Work Environment

This role supports a hybrid model, allowing employees to choose between fully remote work or reporting to offices in Mumbai or Bangalore. The platform operates digitally across multiple regions, including the United States, Canada, India, Luxembourg, and England, enabling flexible collaboration regardless of location.
