About the Role

This role involves leading the verification of advanced semiconductor designs using constrained-random testing, coverage-driven methodologies, and system-level validation to ensure silicon readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for ASIC modules
  • Create and maintain testbenches using SystemVerilog and UVM
  • Implement constrained-random testing strategies to increase coverage
  • Debug and resolve functional issues across multiple design hierarchies
  • Collaborate with design teams to understand microarchitecture specifications
  • Write assertions and perform formal verification where applicable
  • Integrate verification environments across block and system levels
  • Utilize coverage metrics to guide test development and closure
  • Automate regression flows and reporting systems
  • Mentor junior engineers in verification best practices
  • Work closely with physical design and timing teams for sign-off
  • Analyze simulation results and triage failures efficiently
  • Contribute to the development of reusable verification IP
  • Support post-silicon validation with pre-silicon insights
  • Stay current with industry advancements in verification methodology
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback from a verification perspective
  • Ensure compliance with functional safety and quality standards
  • Optimize testbench performance for simulation speed
  • Develop sequences and scenarios to stress corner cases
  • Collaborate with software teams to align hardware-software interfaces
  • Use version control systems for testbench and test case management
  • Drive coverage closure across functional and assertion domains
  • Evaluate third-party tools and contribute to flow improvements
  • Document verification progress and sign-off criteria
  • Support bring-up of emulation and FPGA-based prototyping platforms
