Responsibilities
- Delivers design and documentation required throughout each phase of the project lifecycle, with the team and under the guidance of Directors.
- Skilled in design development, technical drawing, and project coordination.
- Demonstrates expertise in various aspects of design/documentation or a good understanding of all aspects, including concept development, space planning, material selection, and construction documentation.
- Capable of working on and leading parts of complex, multi-phase projects with a focus on achieving high-quality outcomes and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare architectural drawings, models that accurately reflect the design intent.
- Assist in ensuring designs and technical documentation are compliant with project requirements and standards under supervision of senior staff.
- Take the lead on major presentations and negotiations.
- Communicates design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders using strong visual and verbal presentation skills.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of local experience
- Has a good understanding of design and construction documentation through the life cycle of the project
- Has a solid understanding of the NCC, Australian Standards and relevant industry regulations
- Experience working in complex commercial project is required
- Capacity to work as part of a team as well as lead a team under the guidance of directors
- Revit proficiency is essential
