SmithRx is hiring a Senior Application Analyst

Role Overview

As a Senior Application Analyst, you will serve as the technical steward for a suite of business applications integrated with Salesforce. Your primary responsibility will be to configure, optimize, and maintain automation systems that power critical functions across Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Support. You'll ensure seamless performance across platforms by managing integrations, data flows, and system configurations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and build internal logic, triggers, and multi-step workflows in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms such as Ironclad and Linksquare
  • Configure automated contract routing and approval processes within CLM systems
  • Manage IVR configurations, call routing rules, and agent status synchronization in telephony and CTI environments including Talkdesk and Five9
  • Design and implement trigger-based notifications using SMS and email platforms
  • Support data integration between survey tools and downstream applications
  • Lead technical assessments and selection of new software vendors
  • Define functional and technical requirements for new tools based on business needs
  • Oversee RFP processes and conduct gap analyses during vendor evaluations
  • Manage proof-of-concept phases for emerging technologies
  • Lead end-to-end integration projects connecting third-party systems to Salesforce
  • Map data models across platforms and ensure accurate field-level alignment
  • Configure and monitor data synchronization to maintain consistency across systems
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify manual processes and implement automated solutions
  • Enhance efficiency across the tech stack through scalable automation
  • Support the technical setup and maintenance of Service Cloud features
  • Ensure external communication tools are properly synced with Salesforce records
  • Preserve data integrity across interconnected platforms
  • Provide Tier 3 support for complex application issues
  • Analyze and troubleshoot APIs and system code to resolve integration failures

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years in IT, Business Systems, or Operations roles
  • At least 5 years focused on application analysis, workflow automation, and system integration
  • Proven experience managing direct relationships with third-party software providers
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deploy complex, native automations within SaaS environments
  • Advanced proficiency in data schema mapping and transformation
  • Experience maintaining real-time, high-accuracy data syncs between systems
  • Hands-on background using integration and middleware tools to connect diverse platforms to Salesforce
  • Ability to translate business challenges into technical requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable, long-term solutions
  • Proactive mindset with creativity in improving system performance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Strong capabilities in data organization, analysis, and interpretation
  • Skilled at using data to inform technical and operational decisions
