Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, from invoice receipt to payment execution, including coding, three-way matching, dispute resolution, reconciliation, and payment processing across multiple legal entities.
- Collaborate with the AP team to oversee travel and expense management using Brex corporate cards and reimbursement systems, enforcing policy compliance, handling exceptions, supporting users, and ensuring readiness for month-end closing.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of vendor master data by managing onboarding, updating records, and independently verifying critical changes such as bank account details.
- Lead enhancements in the procure-to-pay workflow by contributing to the design, documentation, and optimization of processes that increase efficiency, data reliability, and scalability.
- Conduct and review month-end accounts payable activities, including reconciliations, accruals, aging reports, and supporting schedules, in coordination with the wider accounting team.
- Develop, maintain, and improve internal procedures and controls within Zip and Brex systems, produce clear guidance for stakeholders, and provide complete documentation to support audits.
